Hall Passes

Since I am less than a year from my teacher degree, I've been exploring some classroom projects. Here's one of my recent ones:

Materials:
-piece of scrap wood
- acrylic paints
-scrapbook paper
-chipboard bird cutouts ($1 for 4 at Michael's)
- ribbon
- wall frame holders
-e600 glue
-scrapbook letter cutouts
-modge podge
-plastic hooks

Steps:
1.) Paint scrap wood color of your choice
2.) Paint edges of chipboard pieces
3.) Trace chipboard pieces twice on scrapbook paper and cut out
4.) Apply paper to chipboard with modge podge
5.) Apply strip of scrapbook paper to wood with modge podge
6.) Add teachers name and pass name using letters
7.) Add another layer of modge podge
8.) Using E600 glue, glue hooks on wood piece and ribbon in loops on chipboard
9.) Add photo wall hooks to back for hanging
